(ANSA) - BELGRADE, AUG 10 - Defence Minister Mariusz
Blaszczak said today on public radio that Poland will send up to
10,000 additional troops to the border with Belarus to reinforce
the Border Guard. "Around 10,000 troops will be stationed at the
border, with 4,000 directly supporting the Border Guard and
6,000 in reserve," the minister said. "We bring the army closer
to the Belorusian border to scare the aggressor away from
attacking us," he added. (ANSA).
