Kiev to join EU, faster on Bosnia and Balkans: Italian FM

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, DEC 11 - "We have given a favorable opinion on the start of negotiations with Ukraine for EU membership and we have noted Kiev's decision to give new rules for the Hungarian minority, something I have been asking for since when I was president of the European Parliament," said the Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said this on the sidelines of the EU Council. "At the same time we ask that we work towards membership more quickly for the Balkan countries and Bosnia", underlined Tajani. (ANSA).
