(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 20 - The Albanian government announced
its intention to designate the Vjosa River basin as a UNESCO
biosphere reserve in order to ensure the river's uninterrupted
flow from its source to the Adriatic Sea, according to UNESCO.
Audrey Azoulay, the Director-General of UNESCO, made the
announcement during a visit to the basin. (ANSA).
