(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 28 - Us First Lady Jill Biden made a
stopover for pizza in Naples on a flight back home from a trip
to Kenya Monday night, sources said Tuesday.
President Joe Biden's wife ordered 10 margheritas and nine pizze
alla diavola with salame for herself and staff after landing at
Capodichino Airport last night, they said.
Biden phoned the order in as her plane was approaching and
Neapolitan pizza chef Enzo Coccia, owner of one of the southern
Italian city's best known pizzerias, delivered the pies at half
past nine.
The plane, Air Force Two, stayed on the ground just long enough
to take the pizzas on board and then flew off towards
Washington. (ANSA).
