(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 1 - Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a
strategic tool for civil-service and public service including
healthcare reform in Italy, Health Ministry Secretary-General
Giovanni Leonardi said on a videolink with the international
event "Artificial Intelligence & Cybersecurity for human health"
organised by Italy, Israel and the UAE at the Italian Pavilion
at Expo 2020 Dubai Tuesday.
"Italy considers artificial intelligence as a strategic
instrument for the reform of public services," said Leonardi.
He said "international cooperation is needed to share knowledge
and establish common rules," stressing how the National Recovery
and Resilience Plan (NRRP) was "an opportunity to shape the
future of the health service". (ANSA).
