(ANSA) - Rome, February 13 - Venezuela Ambassador Julian
Isaias Rodriguez Diaz said Wednesday his country was satisfied
with Italy's position on Venezuela.
On Tuesday the Italian parliament voted a motion calling for
presidential elections in Venezuela as soon as possible.
"We are happy with the statement expressed yesterday by the
Italian Parliament," said Rodriguez Diaz.
"The Parliament did not take sides, it maintained a position
of balance, which is the important thing at this time".
