(ANSA) - Rome, February 1 - Italy should be "consistent" with
the EU on Venezuela, European Parliament President Antonio
Tajani said Friday.
"I am stunned," he said, "that several parliamentarians in
the League and 5-Star Movement have chosen not to support
(self-proclaimed interim president Juan) Guaidò, to prepare
elections in Venezuela".
"We need a strong message from Italy to defend democracy in
Venezuela, where there is a wicked dictatorship".
