(ANSA) - Rome, January 30 - Interior Minister Matteo Salvini
said Wednesday he was working on a measure to restrict access to
Italian territorial waters for migrant NGO rescue ships like the
Sea-Watch 3.
"I'm working on a measure to limit the possibility of
entering Italian territorial waters, intervening at the root of
the problem," he said.
Asked if this would amount to a naval blockade, he replied:
"No, we'll apply already existing norms".
