(ANSA) - Berlin, January 18 - German Chancellor Angela
Merkel praised Italy's line on Libya during talks with President
Sergio Mattarella in Berlin Friday.
She said Germany's line was closer to Italy's than to
France's.
Merkel said Germany duly noted the results of the Palermo
conference on Libya and voiced willingness to take part in a
possible second stage in the ongoing process.
