(ANSA) - Padua, January 4 - A 30-year-old Italian architect
from a town near Padua, Luca Tacchetto, has been missing in
Burkina Faso since December 15, sources said Friday.
Tacchetto, son of the former mayor of the town of Nunzio, was
last reported to be travelling in the African country with a
34-year-old Canadian friend, Edith Blais.
They were reportedly heading for the capital, Ougadougou.
The last photos of Luca and Edith posted by the Canadian on
Facebook on December 15 show them hugging and smiling.
The couple arrived at the airport in Burkina Faso's second
city Bobo-Dioulasse in a hire car.
