(ANSA) - Rome, December 28 - Italy's military mission to
Niger to stem human traffickers was requested by the Niger
government at the beginning of December, Premier Paolo Gentiloni
said Thursday.
Italy is sending 470 men, 30 vehicle and two planes to help
patrol Niger's border with Libya.
