First black presidential guard for pope

(ANSA) - Rome, June 10 - The first black presidential guard was among the 'corazzieri' who welcomed Pope Francis on his visit to President Sergio Mattarella this weekend.
    The young man, of Brazilian origin, was born in Italy and now serves on the imposing staircase that leads to the Salone dei Corazzieri where the pope and Mattarella held flagship speeches on migrants, the environment, and the jobs crisis.
