(ANSA) - Washington, February 5 - A massive construction
crane collapsed in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan on
Friday, killing at least one person and injuring at least 15
others, the New York Fire Department (NYFD) said.
The accident occurred around 8:30 a.m. local time and the
cause of the collapse is still unknown.
Rescue workers are searching for other victims who may be
trapped in their cars or in the rubble.
