Russian jet downing mustn't halt Vienna

(ANSA) - Brussels, December 1 - Turkey's downing of a Russian jet was "a very serious incident" that "involves our ally Turkey" and Italy voices the hope that it will not have "negative effects" or "jeopardise the path opened in Vienna" towards a Syria peace accord, Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni said Tuesday. Gentiloni will meet Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu on Wednesday.
