Was in hospital for pneumonia, half-brother now takes crown

(ANSA) - Rome, January 23 - King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia died on Friday at 91 years old, following hospitalization for pneumonia, royal officials said.
    Abdullah's half-brother Salman, 79, has succeeded him on the throne.
    The funeral will be held in Riyadh on Friday in the city's Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Grand Mosque.
    Oil prices rose following the announcement of Abdullah's death, amidst speculation regarding policy from the largest producer of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
