(ANSA) - Tel Aviv, December 17 - Israel government on
Wednesday challenged a decision at a European Union court
earlier in the day, taking Hamas off a terrorists blacklist.
"Israel does not accept the EU clarifications that the
court decision on Hamas are only for technical reasons," Israeli
Premier Benyamin Netanyahu was quoted as saying Wednesday.
"We expect that the EU promptly re-defines Hamas as a
terrorist organisation," Netanyahu added.
The court said it was a technical matter related to the
evidence used initially to put Hamas on the blacklist.
