Queen Elizabeth posts first tweet

(ANSA) - London, October 24 - The United Kingdom's 88-year-old monarch, Queen Elizabeth, on Friday posted her first official tweet.
    The queen topped off the inauguration of the new Information Age gallery in London's Science Museum by tapping the screen of a tablet to launch her Twitter career.
    Her message read: "It is a pleasure to open the Information Age exhibition today at the @ScienceMuseum and I hope people will enjoy visiting. Elizabeth R." The queen's electronic tiding was sent through the @BritishMonarchy account.
