(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 30 - An Italian priest is to leave the
ministry for the love of a woman after 23 years' tending his
flock near Avellino south of Naples, he said on Facebook
Tuesday.
"Afetr a long friendship, I have discovered I love a woman with
whom I share feelings, aspirations, plans, values, faith,
principles and ideals," said Don Antonio Romano, parish priest
at Chiusano San Domenico.
"I can't continue to fight against my nature".
However, Father Romano said he would "always remain alongside he
last ones in society". (ANSA).
