'Kirill did not talk to Zuppi about meeting Pope'

(see related) (ANSA) - ROME, JUN 30 - Patriarch Kirill, head of the Russian Orthodox Church, and Cardinal Matteo Zuppi "did not discuss a new meeting" between the former and Pope Francis following the one in Havana in 2016, Metropolitan Antonij of Volokolamsk, head of the Russian Orthodox Church's external relations department, told ANSA on Friday.
    Metropolitan Antonij said that Thursday's conversation between Kirill and the papal peace envoy had been "very cordial".
