(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 19 - Msgr Alberto Perlasca was cleared of
corruption Friday in a case regarding the Holy See's
controversial purchase of a property on London's Sloane Avenue.
The former official of the Vatican's Secretariat of State did
not knowingly take part in the "numerous fraudlent operations
proved by the promotor of justice's office," said Vatican judge
Paolo Papanti Pelletier.
He might be accused of mere negligence, Pelletier said. (ANSA).
