(ANSA) - Rome, November 18 - A budget amendment filed by the
anti-establishment 5-Star Movement (M5S) Monday calls on the
Italian Catholic Church to pay property tax IMU on its property
used as bars, restaurants and hotel, as well as hospitals.
The amendment also asks the Church to pay arrears on IMU from
2006 and 2012.
