(ANSA) - Rome, February 21 - Father Vinicio Albanesi,
president of the Comunità di Capodarco charity shelter, on
Thursday revealed that he had been sexually abused by priests as
a young seminarian.
Speaking on Italian bishops's broadcaster TV 2000, Father
Albanesi said "I should have told them to go to the Devil,
because they were unworthy. And all this has remained inside me
for 50 years.
"But I didn't have feelings of guilt and that helped me to
look at the priesthood with an open, sunny, beautiful spirit".
