(ANSA) - Rome, February 18 - Pope Francis on Sunday sported a
brooch saying "let's open the ports" to migrants.
The pope donned the brooch for a meeting with migrant
reception operators dubbed 'Free From Fear'.
The Italian government, spearheaded by the anti-migrant
League party leader and Interior Minister Matteo salvini, has
closed Italy's ports to migrant rescue NGO ships.
