(ANSA) - Vatican City, February 12 - Pope Francis on Tuesday
called for an end to the "abominable crime" of child soldiers.
"Thousands of children, forced to fight in armed conflicts,
are robbed of their childhood," he tweeted.
"Let's stop this abominable crime #ChildrenNotSoldiers".
Francis tweeted on the occasion of the United Nations'
International Day Against the Use of Child Soldiers.
