(ANSA) - Vatican City, September 13 - The Vatican has said in
a statement that Pope Francis authorized a probe "into
economic-financial aspects" of the Sistine Chapel Choir a few
months ago.
Vatican investigations are looking into allegations of money
laundering and fraud, sources said.
The choir's director and administrative chief are reportedly
under investigation.
