(ANSA) - Vatican City, May 23 - Pope Francis was "deeply
pained to learn" of the "tragic loss of human lives caused by
the barbaric attack" in Manchester and "expresses his solidarity
to all those struck by this senseless act of violence", the
pontiff said in a telegramme sent on his behalf by Vatican
Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin.
