(ANSA) - Vatican City, July 25 - Pope Francis on Monday urged participants in a conference on integral ecology in Poland for World Youth Day to strive for an economy that might also promote the full realisation of every human being.
In a message to the conference promoted by the Italian and Polish environment ministries, foundations and the WYD local organising committee, the pope said the institutions must be "sensitised so that the economic system is not oriented exclusively towards the consumption of natural resources and human beings, but promotes the full realisation of every person and authentic development".
Francis "urges Creation to be considered as a marvellous gift from God so it is used to the benefit of all".
