(ANSA) - Milan, April 6 - Unicredit has extended its
guarantee on the Popolare di Vicenza bank's upcoming 1.75
billion euro rights issue from April 30 to the second half of
May, sources told ANSA Wednesday. Pre-marketing will start
Thursday to test the market's appetite and the start of the
operation is scheduled for April 18, immediately after bourse
regulator CONSOB approves the prospectus, they said.
