(ANSA) - Padua, February 15 - The Catholic diocese of Padua
said on Monday that it is using applications such as Whatsapp to
send shareable multimedia content to the faithful in a project
that was announced personally by Pope Francis on the diocese's
website Un Attimo di Pace (A Moment of Peace).
"It's a new pastoral format, suitable for adults that have
brief periods of free time at their disposal and are interested
in use (of it) on the go," said the project's coordinator,
Father Marco Sanavio.
Padua Bishop Claudio Cipolla will deliver his homilies
every Sunday through Easter to the project's Whatsapp users.
