Vatican culture chief lauds Bowie

(ANSA) - Vatican City, January 11 - The head of the Pontifical Council for Culture, Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, on Monday remembered iconic pop star David Bowie who has died at 69. Ravasi tweeted the lines from Space Oddity: "Ground Control to Major Tom Commencing countdown, engines on Check ignition and may God's love be with you (David Bowie)".
