Pope says no cost for Jubilee Holy Door

(ANSA) - Vatican City, December 16 - Pope Francis in his general audience Wednesday warned religious pilgrims visiting the Holy Door during the Jubilee Year to be cautious against anyone who might tell them that it costs money to pass through.
    "No, you don't pay for salvation, you don't buy it.
    Salvation is Jesus, and Jesus is free," Pope Francis said.
    "The door is he himself who speaks of those who let (people) in not as one should, and simply says they are thieves and robbers. So be careful. Salvation is free".
