(ANSA) - Vatican City, September 11 - Pope Francis has
said that his popularity may not protect him from meeting
misfortune, citing the example of Jesus Christ. "Often I am
asked what will be my cross, what is my cross," Francis told
Portugal's Radio Renascenca when asked about his popularity.
"Crosses exist, you can't see them, but they exist. Even Jesus
was very popular in a certain period and he ended like he
ended". http://popefrancisnewsapp.com/
