No papal general audiences in July

Will start again in August in Paul VI audience hall in Vatican

(ANSA) - Vatican City, June 30 - The Vatican announced Tuesday that the pope's general audience, which takes place each Wednesday in St. Peter's Square, is suspended for the month of July and will start again in August in the Paul VI audience hall in the Vatican.
    The audience for the Movement of Renewal in the Spirit will be held as scheduled, on July 3 in St. Peter's Square.
    The weekly Sunday prayer of the Angelus and papal blessing will still be held in July.
    The daily Masses in St. Martha's House, open to groups of the faithful, are also suspended in July and August and will begin again in September.
