Confession 'God's tenderness' tweets pope

(ANSA) - Vatican City, March 31 - Confession is "the sacrament of God's tenderness, His way of embracing us," Pope Francis tweeted Tuesday. The pope's Twitter account, @Pontifex, has about 18 million followers in nine different language accounts.
    In English, it is followed by 5.71 million people, 2.59 million in Italian, 8.31 million in Spanish language, as well as 1.3 million in Portuguese.
