Pope sends offerings to Nigeria families

(ANSA) - Vatican City, March 27 - Pope Francis on Friday sent money from Italian church offerings to families in northern Nigeria affected by Boko Haram Islamist raids.
    It was a "tangible sign of solidarity" that the pope does not "forget their suffering," the Vatican press office said.
