God 'immense ocean' says pope

(ANSA) - Vatican City, October 23 - God is like an "immense ocean", Pope Francis said Thursday.
    The pope recalled at a Mass in the Vatican St Paul's famous Letter to the Ephesians, in which he asks the Lord for strength.
    Francis noted that St Paul adores this God, "who is like a sea without beaches, without limitations, an immense ocean". St Paul asks the Father for all the faithful, "to be powerfully strengthened in our inner selves, through his Spirit".
    Francis was speaking at a Mass in St Martha's hostel, where he lives.
