(ANSA) - Vatican City, September 1 - Pope Francis will meet
with Israeli ex-president Shimon Peres in the Vatican on
Thursday, the Vatican press office said Monday.
Peres last visited Francis in June, when he was still
president, and participated in an interfaith prayer summit in
the Vatican gardens with Palestinian National Authority
President Mahmoud Abbas and the Patriarch of Constantinople,
Bartholomew I.
