(ANSA) - Strasbourg, July 1 - Martin Schulz said after his
re-election as European Parliament Speaker Tuesday that his
invitation to Pope Francis to address the Strasbourg assembly
was still good.
"I would be very happy if the Pope agreed to come to visit
the European Parliament," he said, adding "the invitation I made
is still valid".
Schulz was re-elected to another two-and-a-half-year term
Tuesday.
