Soccer: Ferguson has ACL surgery

(ANSA) - ROME, APR 18 - Bologna's Scotland attacking midfielder Lewis Ferguson on Thursday had surgery to rebuild the ACL he tore in the Emilians' goalless home draw with Monza Saturday.
    Doctor Stefano Zaffagnini reconstructed his right anterior cruciate ligament at the Istituti Ortopedici Rizzoli.
    Bologna, this season's surprise package and lying fourth in Serie A with a good chance of Champions League football next season, said the 24-year-old would be out for around six months.
