Soccer: Osvaldo says fighting depression, addiction

(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 15 - Italian-Argentinian former Roma, Inter, Fiorentina, Juve and Italy striker Dani Osvaldo said on Instagram Thursday that he is battling depression and addiction to drugs and alcohol.
    "I have to make some confessions on my life," said the 38-year-old ex centre forward, who has 14 Italy caps.
    "It's hard for me but I think the moment has come because I'm quite desperate and I'm not going through a good period at all.
    "I feel the need to say that for some time now I've been fighting against depression which has led me to some addictions, alcohol and drugs, and I feel life is getting away from me".
