(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 16 - French former AS Roma manager Rudi
Garcia was named coach of Serie A champs Napoli Friday replacing
Luciano Spalletti who parted company with the Partenopei after
leading them to their third scudetto, and first since the
Maradona glory days, earlier this month.
Nemours-born Garcia, 59, has managed Lille, Marseille, Lyon and
Al Nassr as well as Roma, where he left a good impression in
2016.
Garcia's appointment was announced by the president of the
Azzurri club Aurelio de Laurentiis on Twitter. (ANSA).
