(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 28 - Inter Milan clinched a Champions
League berth on Saturday night while AS Roma fell short of that
goal.
Inter beat Atalanta 3-2 at the San Siro while Roma went down 2-1
at Fiorentina.
With one match to go, Inter are provisionally second in Serie A
on 69 points, 17 behind champs Napoli who have a game in hand
and a point ahead of Lazio in third.
Roma are sixth, a point behind Atalanta in fifth.
AC Milan are fourth, four points behind Lazio, and their
Champions place looks secure. (ANSA).
