Tennis: Berrettini's US Opens ends in quarter-finals

(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 7 - Matteo Berrettini's run at the US Open ended in the quarter-finals on Tuesday when the 26-year-old Roman lost 6-1, 6-4, 7-6 (7/4) to Norway's Casper Ruud.
    Italy still has a chance of having a representative in the semi-finals with Jannick Sinner, the 11th seed, who takes on Spain's Carlos Alcaraz in the last eight. (ANSA).
