(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 18 - Bruno Labbadia, the Italo-German coach chosen by Genoa to replace the sacked Andriy Schevchenko, has pulled out of the appointment over disagreements on the transfer market, sources said Tuesday.
Former Bayer Leverkusen, Wolfsburg and Hertha Berlin manager Labbadia had been expected to arrive in Genoa Tuesday to sign his contract.
Genoa lost 6-0 at Fiorentina Sunday to leave them second last in Serie A on 12 points, one above Salernitana and four behind third from last Cagliari. (ANSA).
