Lukaku, Hakimi, Abraham moves among the biggest of the year

(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 14 - Transfer spending by Italian soccer clubs amounted to $667.7 million in 2021, placing Italy second in world-player-deals table only to England, where clubs spent a total of $1.39 billion last year, according to the FIFA Global Transfer report.
    The report said Romelu Lukaku's move from Inter to Chelsea was the biggest transfer of the year, while Achraf Hakimi's move from Inter to Paris Saint-Germain was third.
    The fifth biggest was AS Roma's signing of England forward Tammy Abraham from Chelsea.
    Amad Diallo's move from Atalanta to Manchester United came eighth. (ANSA).
