(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 10 - Italy winger Lorenzo Insigne has
signed a contract to play for Toronto FC after the end of the
current Serie A campaign, the MLS side said at the weekend.
"Ciao, I'm Lorenzo Insigne," the 30-year-old, who helped Italy
win Euro 2020 last summer, said via Toronto FC's Twitter
account.
"I wanted to say hello to all the Toronto fans.
"I'm very happy about this new adventure.
"I want to thank the club. See you in July. All for one!".
Insigne's contact with Napoli expires at the end of the season.
