(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 5 - Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti has become the latest member of the Serie A club's camp to test positive for COVID-19.
Former Udinese, Zenit, Roma and Inter tactician Spalletti, 62, is self-isolating for the prescribed period, the club known as the Azzurri said.
He will not travel to Juventus on Thursday, they said.
Spalletti lives in a hotel in Naples but may now return to his family home at Certaldo in Tuscany, the club said.
Spalletti is the latest coronavirus-positive Napoli member after French defender Kévin Malcuit and Portugal left.back Mario Rui also tested positive Tuesday.
There is currently a slew of other COVID cases at Udinese, Verona and Salernitana but the Lega Serie A has said Thursday's resumption of the championship will go ahead as scheduled.
