(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 5 - Former Italy forward Antonio Cassano
has been in Genoa's San Martino hospital since January 2 with
COVID-19, but he is on the mend, doctors have said.
The retired player, whose former clubs include AS Roma, Real
Madrid and Sampdoria, is vaccinated for the coronavirus, having
had two jabs.
"Tomorrow he is returning home," said San Martino Director
General Salvatore Giuffrida.
"When he arrived he had blood oxygen saturation of 95%". (ANSA).
