(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 6 - Juventus took a big step towards
claiming their ninth consecutive Serie A title at the weekend
when they thrashed city rivals Torino 4-1 while fellow scudetto
contenders Lazio and Inter both lost.
Goals by Paulo Dybala, Juan Cuadrado, Cristiano Ronaldo and an
Koffi Djidji own goal put the Turin giants on 75 points with
eight games to go.
Second-placed Lazio are seven points adrift after being thumped
3-0 at home by seventh-placed AC Milan.
Inter Milan are on 64 points after losing 2-1 to Bologna.
Fourth-placed Atatlanta continued their strong form and
tightened their grip on Italy's final Champions League
qualification slot with a 1-0 win over Cagliari.
The Bergamo side have 63 points, 15 more than fifth-placed AS
Roma, who lost 2-1 at sixth-placed Napoli (ANSA).
