(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 19 - Four-time paralympic champion and
former Formula One driver Alex Zanardi was involved in a serious
road accident in the province of Siena on Friday while taking
part in a race on his handbike.
Sources said Zanardi was taken to hospital via air ambulance
after an accident involving a lorry on the 146 state highway
near Pienza. (ANSA).
